Michigan Trauma Coalition, MI Chapter-American College of Surgeons & MCOT: Stop the Bleed and Trauma Awareness Advocacy Day
On May 23, 2019, we will be holding our 2nd Annual “Michigan Stop the Bleed and Trauma Awareness Day” at the State Capitol, organized jointly by the Michigan Chapter of the American College of Surgeons, the Michigan Committee on Trauma, and the Michigan Trauma Coalition.
Last year’s event was hugely successful! A large group of multi-disciplinary trauma professionals from around the state rallied at the capital to promote bleeding control education and funding for the Michigan state trauma system: One of only two state systems in the country that lack permanent funding. With the recent large turn-over in Legislators, we need your help to educate these new folks!
Note: In order to have more accurate numbers for food and space requirements, we ask for each individual who will be attending the event to sign-up below (either as a supporter or to help with a specific job). A light brunch snack will be provided.
Thank you in advance for your support and help with this amazing and inspiring initiative!
